The Reef House Adults Retreat in stunning Palm Cove is seeking a casual Front Office Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office Team. We are renowned for our personalised service in a truly relaxed setting offering tranquillity, ambience and boutique luxury.

To be successful in this role, we need you to create memorable and personalised experiences for our guest, be motivated by genuine care for others that underlies your inspiration to work in hospitality, welcoming all guest as if your own favourite celebrity and maintain Reef House manifesto luxury standards to ensure all of our guests have an unforgettable experience.

Job tasks and responsibilities

A day in the life of a Front Office Guest Service Agent at The Reef House Palm Cove

  • Welcoming guests to the hotel whilst providing prompt, personalized service and efficient check in and check out throughout their stay
  • Assisting guests with requests and memorable experiences by sharing your hotel and local knowledge.
  • Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of guest amenities and ensuring the security of our guests and their possessions.
  • Promoting and up-selling hotel facilities
  • Daily liaison with inter-departments such as food & beverage and housekeeping for guest movements, requests and activities.
  • Meeting and exceeding guest expectations and handling customer complaints in an efficient and proactive manner.
  • Night Auditing (not overnight)
  • Providing personalized service to each and every guest.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you will have a natural ability to 'surprise' guests with your authentic customer service, setting you apart from the rest.  As well as:

  • Excellent time management skills
  • Experience in a luxury environment
  • Demonstrate ability in delivering guest centric experiences
  • A passion for hospitality and enthusiasm for working with people from all over the world
  • Professional manner
  • Previous experience with a PMS and Opera Cloud desirable however not essential
  • You will have exceptional communication skills and customer service flair.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, nights and public holidays
  • Unlimited work rights in Australia
