As the online sales and social media co-ordinator you will be responsible for managing our online sales with excellent customer engagement and efficient despatch of online orders, managing our website, and building our presence on social media while developing your knowledge and skills in the fashion industry and digital marketing.
This role is perfect for a graduate in marketing or fashion management who is building their career in fashion management, customer service and digital marketing.
- Based at our Surry Hills Head Office, you will work closely with senior management in a creative fast-paced environment with a small, enthusiastic team.
- You will be supporting the reputation and growth of a high quality Australian designer fashion label.

MOSS & SPY is a leading Australian designer label setting exciting new standards for high end women's fashion. Our sophisticated designs and high-quality fabrics offer discerning women an innovative alternative to European designer brands. )
We manage production and operations from our head office & warehouse in Surry Hills in Sydney. We have stores in Sydney and Melbourne, national distribution through David Jones and selected boutiques in Australia and New Zealand, as well as a rapidly growing global online customer base and strong social media following.
Who are you?Qualified: You have completed qualifications in fashion and/or marketing, preferably to a degree standard.
Excellent customer service: You enjoy engaging with customers and have excellent customer service skills, able to communicate in detail and with ease over the phone, by email, online chat, social media messaging and face to face when required.
Experience / aptitude for fashion sales and marketing: You have a genuine desire to develop a career in fashion sales and marketing with a strong aptitude to learn about our collections so you can become a product expert and contribute to our marketing initiatives.
Technical skills: You have experience with the tools and platforms that are part of a modern online business, including Microsoft Office with skills in Excel, and the Adobe Create Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop. You also have some familiarity with online website management tools including Shopify.
Digital media skills: You are familiar with using Facebook, Instagram and other online and social media platforms to engage potential customers and build effective campaigns.
Adaptable: You will be open and adaptable, able to manage unexpected demands and working with other members of our small team on a range of business activities as demand arises.
What is the role?Product knowledge: You will become highly familiar with our extensive range of styles to ensure you can advise our customers and answer any question they have about product fit and suitability for different occasions.
Excellent customer service: You will help us manage the growth of our online sales, providing our customers with excellent customer service when they contact us by phone, email, online chat or social media. You will also occasionally work in our Sydney boutique.
Daily online sales despatch: You will manage our daily online sales, selecting products, packing them to our high standards, and preparing them for despatch to our Australian and international customers.
Online returns: You will manage our online returns, providing a rapid response to customers requesting refunds or exchanges, advise customers on possible alternative styles, and develop reports to help reduce the rate of returns.
Website management: You will manage images from our photoshoots, write copy for new styles, prepare and upload them to our website, and manage online collections to a high standard of visual merchandising.
Social media management: You will develop our presence on social media platforms to grow our reputation through a strong brand image. This includes engaging with comments and posts by social media users which are relevant to MOSS & SPY.
