Join Our Head Office Team – Be the Heart Behind the Scenes

We're a large and growing OSHC provider, proudly supporting families and educators across our network of Before and After School Care centres. Based at our Head Office in St Albans, we're on the lookout for a friendly, organised and motivated Receptionist / Admin Assistant / All-Rounder to support our Recruitment and HR team, while also taking care of front of house duties.

This is the perfect role for someone who loves variety, enjoys helping others, and thrives in a fast paced, people focused environment.

About the Role:

As the first point of contact at our busy head office, you'll play a key role in ensuring everything runs smoothly, from greeting visitors to supporting the people who support our educators. You'll assist the Recruitment and HR teams with day to day admin tasks and help create a welcoming and professional environment for all staff, candidates, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage reception desk – greeting visitors, answering calls and emails
  • Provide administrative support to the HR and Recruitment teams
  • Assist with onboarding tasks, reference checks, and compliance documentation
  • Schedule interviews, meetings, and follow-ups for new candidates
  • Maintain staff records and assist with data entry and file management
  • Keep shared spaces clean, organised, and welcoming
  • Support general office operations and jump in to help wherever needed
About You:

You're a confident communicator, a natural organiser, and someone who enjoys being the go-to person in a team. Whether you're welcoming a new candidate or helping file paperwork, you do it with professionalism and a positive attitude.

You'll Bring:

  • Previous experience in admin, reception, or HR/recruitment support (not essential)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
  • High attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • A proactive, team first attitude

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience in a childcare or education setting (but not essential)
  • Understanding of HR/recruitment processes
  • Familiarity with platforms like Ready Workforce, and Seek
