In collaboration with the Queensland State Government, Emanate Technology is looking for an experienced
Project Manager
to deliver a major
Essential 8 Uplift program
. This role will see you leading the end-to-end delivery of a critical cyber security initiative designed to strengthen resilience and align with the ACSC Essential 8 framework.

What you'll be doing

  • Scoping project objectives, deliverables, and governance frameworks
  • Driving end-to-end delivery of the Essential 8 Uplift program
  • Leading stakeholder engagement across internal teams, vendors, and senior leaders
  • Managing project risks, issues, and contingency planning
  • Allocating resources and overseeing budget management
  • Reporting project progress, risks, and milestones to stakeholders
  • Partnering with technical teams to ensure controls are effectively implemented

What you need to bring

  • Experience delivering complex IT and cyber security projects
  • Knowledge applying ACSC Essential 8 and cyber security frameworks
  • Background leading stakeholder engagement across multiple levels
  • Proven ability managing risks, budgets, and resources in large programs
  • Strength in communication, leadership, and influencing skills
  • Certification in project management (e.g. PRINCE2)

  • Exposure working in fast-paced or highly regulated environments
