ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE
As
Project Manager
, you'll be overseeing the construction of major complex buildings projects from inception to completion. You will have a high degree of responsibility over the course of the project lifecycle and will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver project outcomes efficiently and to the highest standard.
You will be the go-to person for:
- Ensuring projects are scoped, designed, built, and delivered to meet budget and quality expectations
- Managing stakeholders - your team members, the client, subcontractors and other relevant personnel
- Establishing strong working relationships with delivery partners to ensure relevant scopes of work are in accordance with requirements of the package of works
- Managing all aspects of project delivery, including design management, from concept to delivery stage
- Overseeing procurement planning and execution - RFIs, tendering, analysing, recommending, and awarding
- Contract management, Identifying and managing construction risks, ensuring safe sites and escalating issues when required
- Maintaining regular meetings and reports to ensure projects are on track.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Minimum 5-8+ years' experience as a
Project Manager - Formal qualifications in design, engineering or project management.
- Experience in construction and property and demonstrated experience in the Australian construction market;
buildings and/or facilities, commercial, public/social infrastructure - Critical thinking and ability to communicate effectively (written and oral).
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills.
