Position Overview
Aerofloat is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in wastewater treatment to lead the delivery of our end-to-end treatment system projects. This is a hands-on role where you'll manage projects from concept design through to commissioning across a diverse range of industries.
Aerofloat delivers turnkey wastewater solutions incorporating civil, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components. You'll be joining a team of passionate engineers and technicians committed to sustainable outcomes and technical excellence.
Please do not apply unless you have direct project management experience in wastewater treatment. Applications without relevant experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of wastewater treatment projects.
- Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards in alignment with Aerofloat's ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certifications.
- Coordinate across internal engineering, manufacturing, and commissioning teams.
- Manage and forecast project budgets and financial performance using Procore, including tracking costs, variations, and progress claims.
- Oversee project resource planning and scheduling within Procore to ensure efficient allocation and utilisation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Provide technical direction, identify and resolve project issues promptly.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and HSE requirements across all project phases.
- Travel Australia-wide as required to be actively involved in site installations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and in line with design specifications.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' project management experience in the wastewater treatment industry (industrial or municipal).
- Strong understanding of wastewater processes and mechanical system integration.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple, concurrent wastewater projects.
- Confident communicator and natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and familiar with CAD tools.
- Project Management / Engineering degree or equivalent.
