Role Description:

Due to company growth and a strong pipeline, we're seeking two Project Managers to join our Education team across a variety of school infrastructure and tertiary projects. These projects will be a mixture of new build, refurbishment and redevelopment projects.

Whilst Education project delivery experience is preferred, it's not essential for you to have the opportunity to work in this role. If you're looking to deliver school projects for the first time, this could be your chance

As we are a multi-sector project management firm, you could also broaden your skill set by delivering projects across other property & buildings sectors.

Located in our Sydney office, you'll be responsible for:

  • Overseeing scopes of works with clients.
  • Managing the design, tender and procurement process.
  • Engaging with contractors and consultants.
  • Managing the construction/delivery of projects.
  • Fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Overseeing contract management, variations and claims.

Desirables:

  • Fit out and general refurbishment experience (role 1)
  • Services Coordination, Health, data centres etc (role 2)

Candidate Profile

To be successful, you'll need demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end projects within a Consulting environment.

You'll also need:

  • The ability to understand 'the big picture' of where these projects fit into the social infrastructure space (for Government projects), or how these developments impact the strategic objectives of private organisations (for projects in the private sector).
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Experience with design and construction phases of projects.
  • A willingness to work as part of the Project delivery team, to deliver outstanding outcomes for clients.
  • Qualifications in Development Management, Project Management, Engineering, Construction, or related discipline.

What's In It for You?

This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next steps in their Project Management career and manage challenging projects in a key sector of the Construction marketplace.

  • Work across a variety of projects and sectors, gaining exposure to the full infrastructure spectrum.
  • Receive phenomenal support from our talented leadership team and play a key role in shaping the growth of the business.
  • Enjoy a hybrid working environment with autonomy and flexibility to work in the way that suits you best.
  • Benefit from ongoing career development and progression opportunities, including a tailored Professional Development Plan and a senior mentor to help you reach your goals.
  • Access events, activities, and initiatives led by our active Health & Wellbeing and Diversity & Inclusion committees.
