What will you do?
As Our WHS Business Partner, You Will Work With Our Leadership To Drive a Safety Culture, Collaborating, Providing Coaching And Support For WHS Related Issues. You Will Also Assess And Anticipate WHS Related Risks And Issues Through Partnerships Across The Organisation. As a Part Of And Supported By The People & Culture Team, You Will
Lead, coach and motivate the development of robust, innovative and creative WHS approaches to build ownership and engagement at all levels.
Manage and resolve complex WHS issues. Conduct effective, fit-for-purpose investigations and facilitate assessments with risk owners.
Take opportunities to build shared understanding and ownership of the organisation's vision, values, strategies, plans and desired safety culture.
A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement of employment. Successful candidates must set up a myGovID in order to access Government data aligned to role.
Who are you?
- Demonstrated success as a WHS Business Partner or equivalent role
- Strategic thinker. Able to provide pragmatic advice, develop options, facilitate the analysis and actioning of risks and issues as they arise
- Sound negotiation, influencing and persuasion skills. Able to effectively, and creatively, challenge people, situations and current thinking.
- Proven success in driving a safety culture within target driven environments is critical.
- A diploma or degree in Work Health and Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Health, or a related field.
