Your new company

A luxury home builder with a successful track record is looking for a Commercial-orientated Contract Administrator or Residential Procurement officer to join their team on the Sunshine Coast.

With a focus on exceptional craftsmanship, you will be at the heart of delivering some very special homes, and building relationships with local suppliers on the Sunshine Coast. Moreover, you will be joining a well-regarded team who encourage a healthy work-life balance.

Your new role

Working closely with the directors of the company, you will take responsibility for procuring subcontractors, preparing and approving progress claims. You will also ensure projects are scoped, and manage variations by ensuring they are priced correctly, recorded and passed on to the owners. You will also do the take-offs for supplier orders and track costs, all using Procore. Being a smaller company, you will enjoy a multi-faceted role with hands-on-site interaction; be able to read drawings and assist the Site Manager by administering Hazardco, (their safety management system).

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience in a similar capacity, ideally in luxury home construction or commercial construction with multi-res such as Townhouse Developments. Whether you have a trade qualification or tertiary qualification, all will be considered. What is more important is the experience you have gained in your career to date. With a strong ability to read drawings, do take-offs and Procore trades.

What you'll get in return

A competitive salary package is on offer commensurate with experience, while a salary of up to $130k base is a good indicator. This is a role where your hours will not exceed 40 hours per week, with the start time flexible to suit your lifestyle, as long as 8 hours per day and your work is done.
