A growing Civil Construction and Building company working in South East Queensland is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join its team. We specialise in a diverse range of civil construction, infrastructure and building projects. These services include detailed earthmoving and large scale bulk earthworks, excavation, drainage and services, infrastructure works, sub divisions, concrete structures, car parks, road works, building and maintenance projects. Some of our clients include Port of Brisbane and Energy Queensland.

Job tasks and responsibilities

You will be responsible for producing the company's progress claims for all projects.

Planning and implementing the procurement of materials and subcontractors to achieve construction programs.

High detailed construction programs.

Production of subcontract agreements, purchase orders and supply agreements.

Working with superintendents/foremen to recognize variations, quantity increases and additional scope of works for the production of appropriate variation correspondence to client.

Monitoring daily costs with superintendents/foremen and the Director.

Preparation and analysis of end of month project costs report to the director.

Completing tender submissions in conjunction with the Director.

Skills and experience

Demonstrated significantContract Administration experience. This is a senior position.

High attention to detail and excellent skills with numbers.

Highly developed communication, negotiating and analytical skills with the ability to effectively communicate with officials from Government, the community, Council and clients.

Demonstrated experience in the management of staff in a multi-faceted civil and building environment.

A degree, preferably in construction management.
