The Association of Independent Schools of Western Australia (AISWA) is the peak body representing and supporting independent schools in Western Australia. With 166 member schools enrolling over 90,000 students, AISWA plays a key role in advocating for and supporting the independent school sector.

We are seeking an experienced senior leader to deliver impactful change, strengthen organisational capacity and reinforce AISWA's commitment to supporting school operations.

The Manager, School Operations Support will play a key role in ensuringmember schools receive high-quality service and support across all areas of school operations, with a strong focus on compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:


• Extensive experience in a senior leadership role within the education sector.


• Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.


• Strong knowledge of industrial and workplace relations legislation relevant to schools.


• A sound understanding of the School Education Act 1999, the Registration Standards and Other Requirements, and regulatory expectations for ongoing school compliance.


• A working knowledge of the broad scope of school operations in the non-government sector.


• Experience in preparing or supporting school registration renewal applications.


• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage a range of stakeholders.
