The Role

Genus Plus Group is seeking a Construction Manager to join a new project working a 2:1 roster.

  • Collaborate with engineers, specialists, contractors, and labourers, and coordinate their schedules
  • Attend coordination and progress meetings; make regular trips to sites during construction including bid walks, preconstruction walks, in-progress site visits, punch walks, and construction closeout
  • Conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections throughout the construction process
  • Maintain and update SOW and preconstruction documents, and monitor contract obligations with a goal of building relationships with reliable contractors and vendors.
  • Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions.

Essential Skills / Qualifications/Experience:

  • Trade and or Engineering Certificate preferably in the Electrical industry.
  • S26 Qualified
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing high performance teams.
  • Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Construction Induction Card
  • High level customer relationship management and interpersonal skills.
