Junior Behavioural Therapist / CBA - U (Part-Time, 15–20 hours per week with opportunity to increase to full time)

Dreamspire Therapy is looking for an enthusiastic 
Junior Behavioural Therapist
 to join our team in Pymble. This is a fantastic opportunity for students or early-career professionals studying 
Applied Behaviour Analysis, Behavioural Therapy, Psychology, or Autism Studies
 who want to gain practical experience and 
supervision hours toward CBA certification
.

About the Role

Work directly with neurodivergent individuals, particularly children and young people with autism, in a supportive and hands-on environment. You'll deliver 
1:1 therapy sessions
 under supervision, gaining 
real-world experience and hours toward your CBA
. Sessions occur in our 
Pymble clinic
, as well as in 
schools and childcare centres
.

You will have the opportunity to 
work alongside both Certified Behaviour Analysts and Speech Pathologists
, gaining exposure to a multidisciplinary team and learning from experienced practitioners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver 
    1:1 therapy sessions
     (supervised).
  • Respond to 
    behaviours of concern
     using positive behaviour support strategies.
  • Write 
    session notes and progress summaries
     (templates and support provided).
  • Contribute to 
    goal setting and therapy planning
    .
  • Collaborate with an experienced team of Behavioural Therapists and Speech Pathologists.
  • Communicate with families and other professionals to support consistent care.

About You

  • Studying or recently completed studies in 
    ABA, Behavioural Therapy, Psychology, or Autism Studies
    .
  • Looking to 
    gain supervision hours toward CBA certification
    .
  • Passionate about supporting individuals with autism and neurodivergent clients.
  • Reliable, flexible, and eager to learn.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Driver's licence and own vehicle
     required.
  • Current Working With Children Check and Police Check (or willing to obtain).
  • Current First Aid/ CPR (or willing to obtain).
