As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our dynamic team and make a real difference in the lives of others.


The Role

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will develop and implement positive behaviour support plans (PBSPs) for NDIS participants with complex needs. Your work will focus on reducing behaviours of concern and enhancing the quality of life for individuals through functional assessment, person-centred planning, and collaboration with families, support workers, and allied professionals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behaviour assessments (FBAs) and behavioural observations.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs).
  • Monitor, review, and update behaviour support strategies in line with participant goals and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with families, carers, support workers, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide training and coaching to stakeholders in behaviour support strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements.
  • Prepare reports and documentation to a high professional standard.
  • Engage with Clients on a face-to-face basis and travel where needed.
  • Working with a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes.

About You

  • Degree qualified in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Special Education, or a related field (desirable).
  • Current registration with the NDIS Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core / Proficient / Advanced).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience developing and implementing behaviour support plans.
  • Sound knowledge of restrictive practices and relevant legislation.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • Current Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and valid driver's licence.
