The ideal leader will blend entrepreneurial energy with disciplined execution -developing capability where needed, making considered and strategic decisions, and guiding the business confidently through complexity and growth.

About the Role

The General Manager will:

  • Lead the business to achieve sustainable growth, operational excellence and superior customer outcomes
  • Design and optimise a complex national network spanning multiple waste streams
  • Build strategic partnerships with customers, suppliers and regulators
  • Drive commercial performance with full P&L accountability
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability and innovation across all operations

About You

You are an experienced and commercially astute business leader with a proven track record of running a company, division or multi-site operation. You have strong strategic capability and the confidence to make considered decisions in complex environments.

You will bring:

  • Depth of experience across commercial, operational and financial disciplines
  • Demonstrated success leading a senior leadership team, large national teams and building capability
  • Demonstrated experience in a logistics, manufacturing or similar environment
  • Strength in stakeholder relationships, contract management and compliance
  • The ability to balance vision with precision, and strategy with hands-on execution
  • Passionate about leading, developing and inspiring people and teams
