The Role:

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical experts to deliver high-quality infrastructure services
• Manage and maintain core infrastructure services including storage, compute, virtualisation, Windows, Citrix, Identity Management, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform
• Oversee incident and problem management, acting as escalation point for high-severity incidents
• Develop and execute tactical plans aligned with strategic objectives
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to align services with business needs and SLAs
• Ensure compliance with APRA regulations and internal risk frameworks
• Lead disaster recovery planning, technical capacity forecasting, and continuous service improvement
• Maintain governance, reporting, and operational documentation

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years in technical support with 3+ years in a leadership role
• Strong technical expertise in infrastructure platforms and services
• Demonstrated success leading teams in regulated or complex environments
• Experience with ITIL practices and service management frameworks
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and internal stakeholders
• Industry certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or relevant cloud/infrastructure credentials highly regarded
• Prior experience in an APRA-regulated environment is desirable
