The role
We are seeking a highly motivated Line 1 Compliance Manager (Incident Manager) to join our Growth Ops team on a
6-month contract,
focusing on incident management and maintaining strong compliance practices across the division. The position will develop and maintain a best practice 1st Line compliance model across various teams in Growth Ops, including Marketing, Media, Digital, Aggregation, White Label Partners, Alliance Products and Partners, Referrers, and Affiliates, while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team with a strong focus on quality, integrity, and accountability.
As Part Of This Role, You Will
- Develop and maintain a best practice 1st Line compliance model across Growth Ops teams, including Marketing, Media, Digital, Aggregation, White Label Partners, Alliance Products and Partners, Referrers, and Affiliates.
- Assist in the management and resolution of compliance incidents in collaboration with business owners, from investigation and remediation through to closure and reporting.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify trends, provide insights, and recommend improvements to reduce incident recurrence.
- Support wider Governance, Operational Risk, and Compliance teams as the division continues to evolve.
This role does not have direct reports.
What Experience You'll Bring
- 1–3 years' experience in incident management within compliance, risk, or a related function.
- Experience in insurance or financial services
- Proven experience with risk management/compliance systems.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline; legal, insurance, compliance, or risk qualifications highly regarded.
- Experience in generating executive reporting is preferable.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Understanding of compliance standards, legislative requirements, and industry codes, particularly in general insurance.
