We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Claims Officer based in Coffs Harbour, Nambucca Heads, Woolgoolga, Orange, Dubbo, Cowra or Young. The Claims Officer can be full-time or part-time.

The Children, Youth, Families and Employment stream is responsible for the delivery of Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) services. These employment services support people with a disability, injury or health condition to find and maintain employment.

The Claims Officer provides essential quality checking, processing of claims and administrative support to a team of consultants. This role will track outcomes, process claims and monitor caseloads to ensure optimal performance of the program.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in outcome claims within employment services
  • Proven ability of strong attention to detail and a process focused lens; and experience in administration, reporting, computer applications including MS Office Suite.
  • Capacity to ensure data integrity and an understanding of internal auditing requirements.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people and provide relevant and accurate information to stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and prioritise issues, problem solve, generate solutions and work collaboratively to achieve successful outcomes
  • Ability to use technology to effectively undertake a wide range of administrative functions
  • Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with all people to ensure effective relationships
  • Demonstrated well-developed organisational, time management and administrative skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Working experience of employment services operating systems used by Inclusive Employment Australia.
