As we continue to expand, we're looking for an Office & Operations Manager who can bring structure, leadership, and drive to our growing team.


The Opportunity

This is the engine-room role that keeps our business running at its best.

You'll lead people, streamline systems, and ensure the day-to-day operations of the office run smoothly and efficiently. Working closely with the Directors, you'll oversee HR, compliance, and office operations while fostering a positive, high-performing workplace culture.


Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Support

  • Inspire and mentor your team to deliver excellence
  • Provide daily guidance and hands-on support to staff
  • Coordinate team meetings
  • Handle external complaints with professionalism and care
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and staff wellbeing
  • Champion a positive, solutions-focused workplace culture

Human Resources & People Management

  • Manage recruitment, advertising, interviews, and onboarding
  • Oversee leave management, timesheets, and medical certificates
  • Conduct performance reviews and maintain employment contracts
  • Coordinate training, courses, and licensing pathways
  • Keep company policies and employee records up to date
  • Support team wellbeing and manage conflict resolution
  • Set up and manage traineeships

Finance & Administration

  • Prepare monthly management and financial reports for Directors
  • Monitor expenses and supplier invoices.
  • Support payroll processes and wage claims
  • Assist with budgeting and financial tracking

Strata Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements.

Office Management & Culture

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations and maintenance
  • Enjoy use of a fully maintained company vehicle
  • Manage office equipment and supplies.
  • Coordinate birthdays, team lunches, and social events
  • Drive staff engagement initiatives
  • Maintain an organised, professional, and welcoming office environment

About You

You're a natural organiser and people-leader who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment. You balance empathy with accountability, process with people, and always look for ways to improve how things are done.

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience in office, operations, or business management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Xero a bonus)
  • Attention to detail, initiative, and sound judgment
  • Confidence to make decisions and drive improvement
