Position: Fabricator/Welder

Role: We are seeking a talented Fabricator/Welder to join our team due. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in reading and interpreting structural drawings, preparing steel components to precise specifications, and utilising your welding expertise on a variety of metals, including stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret structural drawings accurately
  • Prepare and cut steel components to required specifications
  • Carry out welding tasks with proficiency in MIG/TIG welding techniques
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Collaborate effectively with the team to meet project timelines and exceed customer expectations
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Certificate III in Engineering (Welding) or Welding certificate (AS1796)
  • 2+ years of experience in fabrication and welding, preferably within a construction/engineering environment
  • Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding and general steel fabrication
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Familiarity with fabrication equipment such as presses, punches, benders, guillotines, saws, and Oxy Acetylene and power tools
