About the Role

  • Provide strategic leadership for high-performing, family-centred administration support aligned with clinical service delivery.
  • Manage and lead diverse administrative services, projects, policies, and process documentation to deliver efficiency and training improvements.
  • Utilise health administration expertise to evaluate work systems, optimize resource use, and drive innovation in service delivery.
  • Promote family-centred care principles by engaging consumers in service design and delivery.
  • Manage direct reports for continuity of service, covering leave, recruitment, training, and performance coaching.
  • Develop and coach team leaders and administration leads to ensure high competency and leadership capability across the administration workforce.
  • Lead initiatives for administration officer reward, recognition, and wellbeing to grow and retain talent and reduce absenteeism.
  • Oversee the development of high-quality business reporting to inform executive and divisional decision-making.
  • Lead the development of best practice training programs and the workforce capability framework for administration staff.
  • Provide strategic advice and leadership to management on identifying, managing, and resolving administration risks.
  • develop and review contemporary policies and procedures to integrate administration functions as a key enabler of quality health services.
  • Represent CHQ as the Administration workforce lead in industrial consultations and negotiations with unions.
  • Lead and support practice change initiatives and innovative practices to embed evidence-based improvements.
  • Provide practice management leadership for Allied Health outpatient services, including waitlist and activity data management.
