About the Role

AFS is truly partner focused. We do that by delivering a best-in-class service to our introducer network. We are looking for a Business Development Manager who is passionate about building and fostering business relationships.

Based out of Sydney, day to day you will:

  • Work closely with existing introducers to build strong relationships and gain an in-depth understanding of their needs, retaining their current business while identifying new opportunities
  • Develop a solid and extensive referral network that will support the strategic requirements of the AFS business
  • Present new products and services
  • Enhance existing relationships
  • Work with internal AFS and Solvar colleagues to meet our networks needs
  • Provide exceptional service to introducers through proactive calls and visitation plans
  • Be highly responsive to enquiries and the development of solutions.

About you

Your passion in asset finance will assist you to drive more business within our Introducer Network. The Business Development Manager assists with the continued growth of a healthy portfolio of consumer & commercial customers, introducer relationships whilst maintaining sound credit quality and risk management.

You:

  • Are passionate about building and fostering solid customer-centric relationships
  • Have strong consumer & commercial acumen, lending product knowledge and Competent knowledge of NCCP, Privacy Act and AML/CTF legislation
  • Possess strong negotiation and problem-solving capabilities to meet the short and long-term needs of our introducers.
  • Have a solid understanding of credit analysis and of complex credit scenarios.
  • Are proactive and demonstrate a can-do attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills
