The Opportunity

As the Assistant Restaurant Manager at NOMAD Sydney, you will join our management team in leading the venue's front of house team. You will be a key part in bringing the venue's brand to life - elevating every aspect of the guest experience, and ensuring that each visit leaves a lasting impression. It's a role that requires passion, dedication, and a relentless pursuit of excellence  qualities that you'll bring to the forefront as you help lead NOMAD to new heights.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 1+ years experience in a similar role within a high-volume restaurant
  • Ability to manage operational duties including but not limited to invoicing, rostering and pos management
  • A strong level of food & wine knowledge, and the desire for continual learning
  • A track record of effective planning, time management and decision-making skills
  • An eye for detail and know how to enhance guests experiences by looking for those little extras
  • An excitement to share your creativity, knowledge and leadership with your team
  • The ability to ensure standards are maintained and the restaurant operates seamlessly
  • Relevant qualifications and certificates or industry experience
  • Ability to work autonomously while treating guests and peers with respect, humility and kindness
  • Commitment, passion and appreciation for all things food & beverage and the hospitality industry
