Liquid & Larder is on the lookout for an experienced hospitality leader to join the team at Bar Julius as a casual Restaurant Supervisor. If you thrive in the underrated art of all-day dining and love the buzz of a venue that flows from morning coffee to late-night martinis, this could be your next move.

Located in the vibrant lobby of The EVE Hotel, Bar Julius is part of a small but growing team delivering thoughtful service and seasonal menus in a fast-paced, design-led space.

About The Venue:

Located in Sydney's Redfern, on the fringe of Surry Hills and Redfern's creative hub, The EVE sits at the heart of a new lifestyle precinct, Wunderlich Lane, and will feature a rooftop restaurant and bar, poolside dining, lobby bar and dining, as well as an in-room dining service all under Liquid & Larder's remit as the hotel's exclusive hospitality partner.

Bar Julius is The Eve's European-inspired lobby bar. A welcoming and vibrant hub that caters to every taste—open early and up late, from caffeine to cocktails served alongside all-day bistro classics .It's a place for our guests to settle in and reset as such the venue requires a strong leader with the desire to mentor & create unique experiences for our guests as we deliver an exceptional all-day dining experience.

About The Role:

As the Restaurant Supervisor, your role is to support the Restaurant Manager in ensuring exceptional dining experiences. With excellent attention to detail, you will uphold impeccable standards for both food quality and service. Your approach to service will be personal, professional, and engaging, striving to understand guests' needs and expectations while leading by example to embody the characteristics that make us best in class.

The ultimate goal is to exceed customer expectations, leaving them thoroughly satisfied and wanting for nothing.

Prior experience in a hatted venue is essential, along with a keen eye for detail to maintain the consistent quality of our offerings. This is a casual position with the opportunity for growth.

Your Day to Day:

Full management of venue when MOD

Cash up reconciliation

Shares and drives our company core values

Provides support and leadership to the restaurant teams

Ensures efficient, professional guest experience

Assists with ensuring staff adherence to policy

Communicates efficiently between all members of the venue.

Handles on shift shift customer complaints with empathy, in a professional & helpful manner before resolving the issue as soon as possible.

Rostering completed and published on time and inline with Labour costs

Carries out additional duties required to fulfil the position and as requested

About You:

Proven experience in a within a premium or hatted venue

A confident and calm demeanour

A genuine passion for hospitality, teamwork and being of service

High attention to detail and a genuine passion for guest interaction

Strong organisational and communication skills

Availability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and evenings
