Pulford Air & Gas a subsidiary of global powerhouse ELGi Equipments—have been delivering compressed air and gas solutions across Australia for nearly 100 years. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an organised and proactive Service Scheduler to join our team based in one of our 3 offices.
About the RoleReporting to the Scheduling Team Lead, you'll be responsible for planning and coordinating service schedules across our customer base, ensuring optimal use of technician resources and delivering a high standard of customer support. Your role will directly contribute to operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and business success.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and schedule all routine and breakdown service activities
- Allocate jobs to field technicians and coordinate materials and parts availability
- Optimise technician efficiency and resource utilisation using our service management system
- Monitor job progress, customer requirements and service KPIs
- Proactively communicate scheduling updates to customers and internal stakeholders
- Support technician field enquiries and escalate where needed
- Ensure compliance with WHS and quality procedures in all scheduling activities
- Maintain accurate scheduling records and reports in our systems (MS Navision and others)
- Provide administrative support to technicians and assist with general office tasks as required
- 2–4 years' experience in service scheduling or coordination
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes on time
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience working with scheduling or ERP systems (e.g., MS Navision or similar)
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (preferred, but not essential)
- Full working rights in Australia (Australian citizen, permanent resident, or valid work visa)
- Demonstrated customer service skills with ability to handle enquiries professionally
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Previous experience in trades, construction, or industrial services (highly regarded but not essential)
