IT Project Coordinator

Rates- $450-$480/day including super

Location - Melbourne

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level IT Project Coordinator to join our client's growing IT team.

This role will support the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects across various departments. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and eager to learn the fundamentals of IT project management in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in coordinating project activities, resources, equipment, and information
  • Support project managers in monitoring project progress and handling routine administrative tasks
  • Help prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports
  • Schedule and organize meetings, track action items, and take meeting notes
  • Communicate with internal teams to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met
  • Help identify and resolve simple project issues or escalate as needed
  • Support in ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or in final year of study)
  • Strong interest in IT systems, software development, and/or project management
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Basic knowledge of project management tools is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
