About the Role
As the Communications and Community Relations Officer, you will be responsible for promoting the school and strengthening its relationship with the community by leading and managing communication strategies and coordinating major school events. This role may include some flexibility to work remotely and occasionally after hours or on weekends to capture key moments and create content for PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, and other promotional materials related to the boarding campus, with specific arrangements to be agreed upon with the successful candidate.

- Experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or community engagement.
- High-level organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A keen eye for detail and strong content creation capabilities (written, visual, and digital).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
- A passion for education and community involvement.
Your Responsibilities
As the Communications and Community Relations Officer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Community & Business Engagement: Develop and strengthen relationships with local community groups, organisations, and businesses to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Student Recruitment Support: Assist in promoting the campus to prospective students and families through events, communications, and outreach.
- Parent Liaison: Coordinate and distribute engaging weekly newsletters to parents, keeping them informed and connected to campus life.
- Public Relations & Promotion: Manage the internal and external promotion of campus events, achievements, and programs, including creating weekly PowerPoint presentations and social media/website content.
- Campus Events & Awards: Support the organisation and communication of boarding campus activities, awards ceremonies, and other key events.
- Community Service Coordination: Assist in planning and promoting student-led community service initiatives and partnerships.
- Content Creation: Develop written and visual content that reflects the values and vibrancy of boarding life for use across multiple platforms.
