Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst
with strong systems engineering or technical analysis expertise to join our team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to take responsibility across all stages of the lifecycle, with a strong focus on best practices, design patterns, and solution delivery in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring requirements are accurately captured, analyzed, and delivered.
  • Work within a
    low-code / configuration environment (COTS systems)
    to deploy system changes within defined
    software delivery lifecycles (SDLCs)
    .
  • Support and guide system design using best practices, patterns, and integration technologies including
    APIs
    and
    event-driven architectures
    .
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business, infrastructure, and development teams to ensure solutions align with business needs.
  • Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve software and environment issues.
  • Contribute to
    Agile software engineering methodologies
    and product implementation efforts.
  • Leverage knowledge of
    SQL Server
    and relational database concepts for analysis and solution design.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in
    systems engineering (infrastructure, network, security)
    or
    technical business analysis
    .
  • Strong understanding of best practices, design patterns, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience working with
    integration technologies
    ,
    APIs
    , and
    event-driven architectures
    .
  • Familiarity with
    Agile methodologies
    and software product delivery.
  • Hands-on experience with
    relational databases (SQL Server)
    .
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot software issues.
  • A

    who seeks automation opportunities to reduce work effort and ensure quality deliverables.
  • Self-motivated, empathetic, and adaptable, with a continuous improvement mindset.
