Senior Business Analyst – Lending Transformation

Location:
Sydney (Onsite or Hybrid)

The Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a major transformation program focused on lending systems and process optimisation.

You'll work closely with delivery teams, technology, and business stakeholders to document requirements, support user acceptance testing, and drive successful outcomes across multiple workstreams.

\What You'll Do

  • Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement across end-to-end lending processes
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of Lending Origination Systems (LOS)
  • Manage and coordinate UAT cycles, ensuring issues are tracked, validated, and resolved efficiently
  • Work with technical teams to translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements
  • Contribute to business process mapping, impact assessments, and change readiness activities
  • Partner with project managers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure delivery alignment and traceability

What We're Looking For

  • 5–10 years' experience as a Business Analyst within Australia, or 15+ years internationally
  • Proven experience in financial services, ideally within
    lending
    or credit environments
  • Hands-on exposure to
    LOS/LMS implementation
    or similar core banking platforms
  • Strong documentation, analysis, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Experience leading and managing UAT cycles end-to-end
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced delivery environment
