Ambrose Construct Group are one of Australia's largest insurance repair specialists. With offices in every state of Australia, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced construction manager to lead our team in WA. 

The role:

  • Provide continuous mentorship and training to the team of Estimator Supervisor's.
  • Guide and direct your team to achieve KPI's and achieve monthly budgets.
  • Create a scope of works with accurate costings.
  • Ability to recruit, manage and maintain sub-contractors.
  • Maintain an effective channel of communication with the National Construction Manager and all Clients as required.
  • Contribute to the financial viability of the repairs by managing all aspects of cost control balanced against quality of repairs.
  • Adopt a flexible approach to work, undertaking and promoting work with a multi-trade environment to avoid duplication and follow on work being passed to other trades.
  • Contribute to and comply with all statutory legislation including the relevant Health and Safety policies and procedures applicable to Ambrose Construct Group.
  • Always provide a high level of customer service, behaving in a respectful, courteous, and polite manner to internal and external customers when representing Ambrose Construct Group.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience leading a team.
  • Trade qualifications highly desirable but not essential.
  • Diagnose and prioritise specific work activities and tasks.
  • An understanding of insurance repairs is highly desirable.
  • Proficient technology skills and ability to learn new systems and software.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work in a systematic and organised manner to cope with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and prioritise specific work activities and tasks.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team, sharing knowledge and experience to gain clear results.
  • Can-do attitude towards work.
  • A full and valid driving license.
  • Cert IV or diploma in Building & Construction is desirable.
