We are seeking a dedicated and passionate CEO to lead our organisation and drive our mission forward. As the CEO, you will successfully lead, inspire and support our small team, develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders including employers, funding bodies and government agencies and work with the Board to build our social enterprise.
The Role
- Lead and manage Success works staff to achieve our mission.
- Cultivate a positive, collaborative and accountable organisational culture that reflects SWP's values.
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with government agencies, community organisations, and businesses to create employment and educational opportunities.
- Lead fundraising activities including grant proposals and ensure the management of the organisation's financial resources to ensure long-term sustainability.
- Together with the Board, advocate for policy changes that benefit our target demographic.
- Oversee the implementation of programs and initiatives that support women with criminal records, including engaging and onboarding candidates, mentoring, job training, and reintegration programs especially the development of employment partnerships.
- Maintain a strong and transparent organisational culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Essential
- Proven leadership experience at a senior level, preferably in the non-profit or community sector.
- Proven record in leading and managing a thriving team.
- Hands-on experience working with complex and vulnerable populations, guided by firm but compassionate leadership.
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute strategy.
- Track record of successful fundraising, grant writing, and financial management.
- Experience in advocacy and policy change.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders from various sectors.
- Passion for, and commitment to, the empowerment and support of women with criminal records.
