About the role

Coastal Motorcycle Centre is seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our team in West Gosford, NSW. This is a full-time position assisting retail and trade customers with their parts enquiries – face to face and over the phone.

What you'll be doing

  1. Interpret customer inquiries and determine the appropriate motorcycle parts and accessories to fulfil their needs
  2. Provide excellent customer service by offering technical guidance and suggestions to enhance the customer experience
  3. Process orders and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure the timely availability of parts
  4. Collaborate with the workshop team to understand current and upcoming service requirements
  5. Assist with the organisation and maintenance of the parts department to optimise efficiency
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new product releases, and manufacturer policies

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Parts Interpreter or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry
  2. A minimum of 6 months -1 year of Parts Interpreter or similar automotive industry experience
  3. Strong technical knowledge of motorcycle parts and accessories, as well as the ability to quickly identify and source the correct components
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide outstanding customer service
  5. Proficient in using inventory management systems and computer software
  6. A passion for the motorcycle industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality parts and services
  7. A valid driver's licence and the ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  8. Australian work rights are required for this position
