Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe, Milling & Vertical Borer Machinist for a full-time, permanent role based in Lisarow on the Central Coast of NSW.

This is a workshop-based position in a jobbing shop environment, where work will be varied and non-repetitive — machining components from drawings or samples, creating new parts to engineering tolerances and standards. You will work within a dedicated team focused on the overhaul and refurbishment of pumps, gearboxes, compressors, blowers and other heavy industrial equipment.

• Ensure adherence to OHS policies and safe work procedures
• Provide precision machining services to support repair and maintenance projects

• Set up and operate a variety of CNC and manual equipment, including:

• CNC Lathes

• CNC Milling Machines
• CNC / Manual Vertical Borers
• Manual Lathes, Mills & Borers
• Radial Drills and general workshop tooling
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and G-Code
• Deliver high-quality workmanship in accordance with Australian Standards
• Work to tight tolerances using precision measuring equipment

• Trade or Engineering Certificate in Machining or Fitting & Turning
• 1st Class Machining Certificate (highly regarded)
• Minimum 5 years post-trade experience in CNC machining
• Proven ability to program, set up and operate CNC lathes, mills and borers
• Experience with Fanuc, Mazak, Siemens or Fagor controls (highly desirable)
• Ability to independently set jobs, dial in datums, and manufacture jigs/tooling
• Proficiency (or willingness to develop skills) in CAD/CAM systems
• Strong knowledge of precision measuring tools and inspection techniques
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
• Sound time management skills with flexibility to work overtime when required
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
