Upper Mount Gravatt, Queensland, Australia Coles Full time $60,000 - $100,000 per year

We've been trusted to serve Aussie communities since 1914 and grown to become a top 30-listed on the ASX with over 115,000 team members and a portfolio of iconic brands. At Coles Group, you'll not only get to make a difference to millions of Aussie lives—you'll also get to see your impact.

About the team

Corporate and Indigenous Affairs is the voice of Coles Group internally and externally. We collaborate with stakeholders across our business to better connect and deliver for our customers and each other. By working together, we further strengthen the trust and relatability our brands are known for across Australia.

About the role

Over more than a decade, Coles has demonstrated its commitment to providing opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, organisations, communities, and customers to engage with our business.

As our new Indigenous Events & Partnerships Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering impactful First Nations engagement programs and nationwide events and sponsorship initiatives. From NAIDOC Week to the Koori Knockout, you'll drive programs that make a real difference—both within our business and in the communities we support.

You will work across a large, matrixed business where priorities shift quickly and multiple projects run simultaneously. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where you'll have the autonomy to shape and deliver programs that genuinely matter.

Applications close October 3. We welcome applicants from Brisbane or Sydney.

What you will do:

•    Plan and deliver a national calendar of events and partnerships, including Reconciliation Week, NAIDOC Week and The Long Walk

•    Collaborate across Corporate Affairs, Customer, Digital and Events teams to deliver programs that are high-impact and culturally authentic

•    Build strong relationships with First Nations partners and stakeholders, embedding cultural protocols into everything we do

•    Manage multiple initiatives at once and adapt quickly to shifting priorities

•    Identify opportunities to innovate and continuously improve delivery and impact.

About you and your skills

We are seeking a proactive professional with proven experience in a large corporate organisation of scale, who can take ownership, influence stakeholders and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience in the face of change.

Importantly, you demonstrate a sound understanding of First Nations communities and cultural protocols, with hands-on experience in event planning and management, and are passionate about creating meaningful impact through First Nations engagement and partnerships.

You'll also have:

•    3–5+ years' experience delivering events, partnerships or engagement programs.

•    Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with shifting priorities.

•    Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.

•    Experience delivering programs end-to-end, from planning to execution and evaluation.

•    Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
