THE ROLE
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join the clinical trials finance team on a temporary, part-time basis. The position is fully onsite and centres around supporting the accounts payable function within a busy, high-volume environment. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

DUTIES

  • Process and reconcile a high volume of invoices, including pre-coded medical invoices, reimbursements, and general AP/AR entries
  • Match invoices accurately with internal data systems
  • Liaise with coordinators, finance, and external stakeholders such as hospitals, clinics, and GPs
  • Review and track expenses across a variety of clinical trials
  • Identify and correct discrepancies in accounts
  • Provide administrative support to the broader finance function as required
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • 2–3 years' experience in an Assistant Accountant or finance support role
  • Experience or exposure to medical, hospital, clinical trial, or clinic settings highly regarded
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Confident communicator – comfortable seeking clarification and pushing back when necessary
  • Quick to learn new systems and adapt to changing processes
  • Must be available to work fully onsite
