We are a well-established CPA practice in St. Marys seeking a mature and professional accountant to join our small team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive taxation and accounting services to a diverse portfolio of business clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements & tax returns for individuals/sole traders, companies, trusts, partnerships & SMSFs across various industries

  • Prepare and lodge BAS/IAS returns

  • Ensure clients are compliant with tax & financial obligations and deadlines are met

  • Collaborate with a diverse portfolio of clients

  • Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies

  • Corporate file management

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • 5 years' experience in public practice accounting

  • CA or CPA qualified preferred but not essential for the right candidate

  • Proficient in both independent and team – based work

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Strong organisational and time management abilities

  • Proficient in accounting software including MYOB, Xero, Class Super and Handisoft
