What you'll be doing?
  • Project Analysis: Analyze documents, drawings, and specifications to formulate accurate and appropriate electrical estimates for projects.
  • Competitive Pricing: Submit competitive prices in line with the electrical market, ensuring the company remains competitive in tender processes.
  • Client Engagement: Attend on-site and client meetings as part of the pricing and negotiating process, showcasing your strong communication skills.
  • Tender Management: Prepare and collate tender documents, demonstrating your expertise in quantity take-off, RFQ preparation, and detailed BOQ costing.
  • Value Engineering: Align work methodology with Value-based Engineering Solutions & Risk Management, contributing to project efficiency and success.
Who are they looking for?
  • Experienced Professional: 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator, with proven site experience as a licensed electrician or electrical site manager on medium to large-scale projects.
  • Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge within the electrical field, including familiarity with Australian standards AS3000, AS30008, and other relevant codes.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Simpro or similar estimating software, along with strong IT knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Communication Expert: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain strong relationships with clients, wholesalers, and industry professionals.
  • Adaptable Team Player: Capable of working under pressure in a fast-moving environment, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing workload effectively.
