Electrical Switchboard Estimator

The Company

Modulec is a multi-disciplined organisation, specializing in the manufacture and supply of low voltage switchboards for power distribution.

The Position

As an Electrical Switchboard Estimator, we will provide you with the opportunity to:

  • Accurately scope switchboard design requirements
  • Procure quotations from a variety of sources, developing timely & accurate project estimates
  • Investigate and implement effective cost management processes and procedures
  • Develop your relationship building skills with manufacturers, suppliers, wholesalers etc
  • Demonstrate your ability to develop successful switchboard designs
  • Coordinate new sales with the design department for efficient processing
  • Exercise exceptional customer service levels while exceeding their expectations
  • Work from home or remotely

It will suit a self-motivated get up and go Estimator who can demonstrate their initiative, work independently, and has a strong desire to maintain client relationships and achieve fantastic results. What we are looking for:

  • A relevant electrical trade qualification or engineering degree is highly desirable
  • Sound knowledge of LV distribution products and switchboards for the Australian market
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • The ability to work well within a team environment
  • The integrity and determination to succeed
  • Understanding of Industry standards.
  • Understanding of customer specifications.

The Requirements

Hold qualifications in electrical engineering or other relevant field/ trade (preferred).

Tertiary training is essential with practical experience being helpful but not essential.

The Salary

We pay based on the merits of the individual and will reward the right candidate. If you are currently employed, we will improve your current salary by 5% minimum to assist you make the decision.
