Mid Level to Senior Electrical Estimator - Sydney NSW

Join a well-established electrical contractor with a strong track record delivering major commercial and data centre projects across Sydney. Known for quality outcomes and a supportive team culture, they're now seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to help drive growth. With high end clients, we take pride in our work, we don't churn through 50 tenders a week, we are very selective with our tenders and a lot of the work is repeat clients, especially in the data centre space which is going through a huge boom right now.

The opportunity

As the Senior Electrical Estimator, you'll play a key role in preparing competitive bids and tenders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. You'll work closely with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams to produce cost-effective solutions and secure new projects.

Day-to-day you will:

  • Review project drawings, RFQs and specifications to prepare detailed estimates
  • Coordinate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Manage multiple tenders and deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior estimators
  • Stay across market activity and maintain tender records
  • Tenders can be anything from $10m - $100m electrical value

What we're looking for:

  • Solid experience estimating electrical works within Australian commercial construction
  • Strong understanding of Australian Standards
  • Confident with MS 365, MS Project, Excel and estimating/design tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have but not essential:

  • Licensed NSW electrician
  • Knowledge of Navisworks, Revizto or Simpro
  • Familiarity with Data & Comms
