The Overview
We're partnering with a leading national organisation to recruit an experienced HRIS Systems Analyst to join their HR & People Systems team. This role will support and enhance HR systems, analyse payroll and employee data, and deliver accurate reporting that drives business insight and compliance. You'll work closely with the Support Systems Manager as part of a dynamic and supportive team.
What You'll Do
- Support and maintain HRIS platforms (SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM, or similar).
- Analyse, extract, and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with legislation.
- Develop and deliver detailed HR and payroll reports using Excel and SQL reporting tools.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and vendors to resolve system issues and implement enhancements.
- Assist with system configuration, testing, and data validation during upgrades or integrations.
- Prepare and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and user guides.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for system and process improvements.
- Provide technical and analytical support for HRIS users and stakeholders.
What They're Looking For
- Proven experience as a HRIS or Systems Analyst within HR, Payroll, or People Operations.
- Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, lookups, pivot tables, dashboards) and experience with SQL reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of HR and payroll processes, including legislative compliance.
- Experience ensuring data integrity and alignment with employment and payroll legislation.
- Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
