Key responsibilities

  • Partner with subject matter experts to ensure alignment with enterprise agreements, policies, and legislative standards.
  • Participate in design workshops, configuration reviews, and data migration planning.
  • Convert business needs into clear functional and non-functional specifications for payroll processes.
  • Map current ("as-is") workflows and design future ("to-be") process improvements.
  • Provide input on payroll interfaces and integrations with HRIS, finance, and timekeeping syste

Essential

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in large-scale payroll or HRIS implementations.
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation, and enterprise agreements.
  • Familiarity with leading payroll platforms (SAP SuccessFactors, Ascender, Chris21, Oracle HCM, Workday).
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with end-to-end testing and payroll system validation
  • Exposure to higher education or public sector environments.
