The service moves through the day, starting with the on-site bakery in the morning before progressing into the restaurant for lunch and dinner. The Opportunity

We are on the lookout for a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team on a full-time basis. We're seeking someone with creativity, dedication, and a genuine passion for the industry,

Your day-to-day:

  • Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to execute and deliver high-quality dishes in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and cook a range of menu items according to recipes and guidelines, ensuring adherence to quality standards and presentation techniques.
  • Supervise and train junior members of the kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
  • Take responsibility for the assigned section, ensuring that mise en place and stock levels are maintained appropriately.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Actively participate in inventory management, ensuring proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
  • Collaborate with the team to continuously refine and improve operational procedures, with a focus on efficiency and excellence.

Our successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum 1 year experience as a Chef de Partie in a venue of a similar calibre.
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher.
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients and kitchen equipment.
  • Leadership skills with a proven track record of motivating and inspiring a team.
  • The ability to adapt and succeed in high-pressure service periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
  • Curiosity and a desire to expand their knowledge.
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day week including weekends and public holidays.
