Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Melbourne, VIC. As a Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes within your specialty section. Daily tasks will include managing and training demi-chef de parties or commis, ensuring that food standards and cleanliness are maintained, and collaborating with the wider kitchen team. You will work under the Head Chef and Sous Chef to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.

Qualifications

  • Experience in culinary arts and kitchen management
  • Strong cooking, food presentation, and kitchen hygiene skills
  • Proficiency in basic cooking techniques and food preparation
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments and manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership abilities
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a high-quality establishment is preferred
  • Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification
