We're a proudly Australian, family-run business involved in exporting quality products to international markets. As our operations grow, we're looking for a friendly and organised Shipping & Reception Administrator to join our close-knit team.
About the Role
This varied role combines shipping administration with front-office reception duties. You'll help keep shipments on track while creating a warm welcome for visitors and customers.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and manage export documentation ( packing lists, bills of lading, certificates, etc.)
- Liaise with freight forwarders and shipping lines
- Greet visitors and answer calls in a professional, friendly manner
- Reception or front desk experience is preferred but not essential
- Handle general emails, mail, and administrative tasks
- Keep the reception and office areas organised and presentable
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in shipping, export, or logistics (preferred)
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in shipping, export, or logistics
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Confident with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel functions
- Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Australian work authorisation is required for this position
