The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of the Cyber Security desk at Preacta.

This is your chance to grow the cyber desk as your own, and champion this space as another a highly specialised offering to our clients.

Reporting to a highly accomplished Practice Lead, and one of Preacta's Top Billers year on year, you will benefit from immediate warm introductions across a very solid client base. At the same time, you'll be proactively driving business opportunities and building out long-term partnerships across the cyber security space.

What to expect:

In this role, you'll take ownership of growing Preacta's cyber security recruitment desk, working across both permanent and temp/contract markets. From day one, you'll have access to established client relationships while also driving proactive business development to uncover new opportunities. You'll manage the end-to-end recruitment processes with precision, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor within the Australian cyber security market. With the autonomy to shape your own career growth, you could become a top biller and build out a delivery team, or step into a team leadership role.

Client Development & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, taking recruitment briefs and understanding business needs.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, negotiating conditions and fees, and devising strategies to grow the client base.
  • Advise clients on recruitment issues, market trends, and competitor activity.

Candidate Sourcing & Selection

  • Source candidates through advertising, marketing, networking, and headhunting.
  • Screen, interview, reference check, and prepare candidates for client interviews.
  • Present tailored shortlists and provide career and market advice to candidates.

Offer Management & Negotiation

  • Arrange and negotiate job offers, including salary packages and contract conditions, ensuring a positive experience for both client and candidate.

Market Knowledge & Expertise

  • Continue to deepen knowledge across your market and maintain awareness of competitor activity.
  • Cultivate talent pools and professional networks to stay connected to market trends.

Collaboration & Development

  • Attend and contribute to weekly sales meetings and regular training sessions.
  • Work closely with your leader to support your ongoing professional and personal growth.
  • Be an influential consultant in our business who proactively builds opportunities not only for your own desk, but the wider Recruitment Team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong track record of success in cyber security recruitment, ideally at Senior or Principal level.
  • Solid business development and client relationship management skills.
  • Proactive, commercially minded, and motivated by results.
  • Experience in managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle through an appropriate Applicant Tracking System or Recruitment CRM
  • Ability to assess and screen relevant prospective candidates and their relevant skills, utilising various assessment and interview techniques
  • Ability to coach prospective candidates through interview process
