The ROLE
The roles will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Preventive maintenance & repairs to internal / external assets which includes servicing and breakdowns.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing of mechanical problems and testing of completed repairs.
- Working unsupervised and as part of a small team collaborating with other Tradespeople.
- Ability to complete accurate details on job sheets, timesheets and any other service requirements.
- Provide outstanding customer service and technical support on-site.
- Support the workshop team during downtime or as needed.
- Assisting with on-the-job training for our apprentices.
About YOU
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Trade Qualified in either Diesel Mechanic or Mobile Plant Mechanic.
- Have a strong background servicing, repairing, and maintaining trucks or heavy machinery.
- Strong fault finding and diagnostics skills.
- Show a strong work ethic & high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Commitment to maintaining safe work practices.
