The ROLE

The roles will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Preventive maintenance & repairs to internal / external assets which includes servicing and breakdowns.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing of mechanical problems and testing of completed repairs.
  • Working unsupervised and as part of a small team collaborating with other Tradespeople.
  • Ability to complete accurate details on job sheets, timesheets and any other service requirements.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and technical support on-site.
  • Support the workshop team during downtime or as needed.
  • Assisting with on-the-job training for our apprentices.

About YOU

  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • Trade Qualified in either Diesel Mechanic or Mobile Plant Mechanic.
  • Have a strong background servicing, repairing, and maintaining trucks or heavy machinery.
  • Strong fault finding and diagnostics skills.
  • Show a strong work ethic & high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Commitment to maintaining safe work practices.
