The Role

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, this role includes but is not limited to:

  • Working closely and collaboratively with a small team of dedicated mechanics and fitters
  • Ongoing servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a range of marine engines and installations
  • Managing a daily work routine in a fast-paced and often unpredictable environment

About You

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience with diesel engines and hydraulics in a marine or similar environment
  • Trade qualifications such as:
  • Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (this meets the requirements)
  • Certificate III in Heavy Diesel
  • Certificate III in Small Engine Mechanical Technology
  • Or a recognised qualification as a hydraulic technician
  • A strong and proven work ethic and a positive attitude toward the role and the team
