Trojan Training Company is the training brand for Challenger Training Pty Ltd (RTO within Trojan Recruitment Group.

Trojan Recruitment Group is a long-standing Australian company that supports rail and logistic industry clients across the country. Through Challenger Training, we deliver nationally recognised rail training and work closely with our clients to build safe, skilled and confident people.

Our team runs new to industry training schools, short courses and rail qualifications.

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate training calendars and programs across several depots and locations
  • Book training venues, rooms, catering and equipment
  • Coordinate trainer rosters and travel
  • Attend Course Information Sessions to support presenters and answer basic questions
  • Send learners clear course information, joining instructions, timetables and training plans
  • Prepare learner guides, workbooks, assessments and other training resources
  • Support enrolments and paperwork in line with RTO and ASQA requirements
  • Keep accurate training records in the student management system
  • Track attendance, completions and refresher dates
  • Work with Operations and client contacts so training fits workforce and roster needs
  • You will work closely with Lead Trainers, Operations Managers, Clients and Learners.

About you:

You are organised and like making sure things are in order. You are happy working in an office and also visiting sites when needed.

You have:

  • Experience coordinating training, events or similar activities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and basic databases or learning systems
  • Good attention to detail and a planned way of working
  • A collaborative, solutions focused approach
  • A current driver's licence and the right to work in Australia

It helps if you also have:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or experience in a training role
  • Knowledge of RTO operations, the Australian Qualifications Framework and ASQA
  • Experience using a student management or learning management system
