We're a fast-moving hospitality group with restaurants, dessert bars, and a growing production arm—and we're on the lookout for a proactive and people-focused HR Officer to join our small (but mighty) team.

This is the perfect role for someone who's ready to take the next step in their HR journey, with a focus on recruitment and loads of variety across the full HR spectrum. You'll be supporting not only our venues but also lending a hand to other exciting parts of the business along the way.

What you'll be doing:

Reporting to the HR Manager, you'll play a key role in helping us find, welcome, and support amazing people across our group. One minute you'll be recruiting a new Venue Manager, the next you'll be supporting a performance conversation or pulling together compliance reports. If you like a bit of everything, you'll love this.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Leading end-to-end recruitment across a range of roles

  • Supporting team members with HR advice and day-to-day queries

  • Assisting with employee relations, performance processes and policy upkeep

  • Supporting onboarding, documentation and HR system updates

  • Helping with HR reporting, audits and compliance

  • Getting involved in WHS tasks and helping us build a safer, more supportive workplace

  • Lending support across different arms of the business when needed

What we're looking for
  • Experience in a HR role with a mix of recruitment, admin, and generalist duties

  • Comfortable working with employees and managers across all levels

  • Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail

  • Friendly, approachable and full of initiative

  • Confident with Fair Work and HR processes

  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Bonus points if you've worked in hospitality (in HR or on the floor)
