Join the talented team at Aqua Dental as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist in our Paradise Point, Queensland practice. This is a casual role with flexible scheduling to suit your needs. As a Dental Assistant/Receptionist you will play a vital part in supporting our dentists and providing exceptional patient care.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assisting dentists during procedures by passing instruments, suctioning, and ensuring the treatment area is organized and sterile.
  • Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice and ensuring they feel comfortable throughout their visit.
  • Preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments in accordance with infection control protocols.
  • Managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
  • Providing post-operative instructions and education to patients.
  • Maintaining a high standard of infection control and workplace health and safety
  • Full training provided to inexperienced applicants.

What we're looking for:

  • Formal qualification in Dental Assisting or minimum 6 months equivalent experience in a dental practice (full training provided for less experienced candidates).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to put patients at ease.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for providing exceptional patient care and supporting the dental team.
  • Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa. Overseas trained dentists and dental assistants are most welcome to apply.
